When it comes to your wedding day, the saying “Its all in the details” rings true. Details are what brings the day together, and gives you the chance to customize your wedding day to fit you and your fiance the way that you want it. As a photographer it is my job to capture those items, and really try to display them in images that you can look back on for years to come.
So, let me define wedding day details. By “details” I mean the usual, shoes, rings, jewelry, etc. There are also a few unique items, like a handkerchief, or a charm from your grandparents. In addition I like to photograph your invitation suite along with these items to really capture the feel of the day in one frame. I ask my brides to make sure to have these details ready and available for me when I arrive. They are typically the first thing I will capture on your wedding day. It also happens to be one of my favorites to capture. It is so awesome how much all of these items mean to the day and my couples.
Below is a list of items to consider when gathering your details. This list isn’t a requirement as much as it is a guideline. If you don’t want your shoes captured, then you don’t have to! Again, this is your day, and what ever you want captured is the way it will be!
